The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacob Young (Rick Forrester) busted a move -- which busted his ankle.

The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacob Young (Rick Forrester; ex-J.R.Chandler, All My Children) may have just given the Beatles classic hit Twist & Shout a whole new meaning: the actor shares that he busted out some dance moves and ended up with a pretty painful ankle injury.

The accident happened when he arrived home and decided to practice a few dance moves, possibly for his summer music tour or another of the many projects he has lined up since being bumped to recurring status on B&B earlier this year.

"Dang! Just arrived at home and honestly was doing some dance moves, rolled my ankle and pretty sure it's broken," he wrote on Instagram along with a photo of his injury.

Luckily, Young's caring wife stepped in to take care of her hubby, prompting him to give her a public shout-out.

"@Christenyoung4 has got this!" he wrote.

In fact, the actor's wife has got a lot of things, including Young's music career. When he first embarked on his journey of becoming a country singer, he said: "It all kind of started on a whim. My wife told me I should stop just playing around the house and share it with the rest of the world. Sometimes I wonder why I waited so long, but it might not have been the right time. I feel like now more than ever this is the right time."

Here's hoping Young has a speedy recovery so he can continue making fun movies like the one that reunited him with his AMC love Alexa Havins (ex-Babe Carey). It doesn't appear that the broken foot will stop Young from his music. Don't believe us? Check out the video below for proof!
