Aiden Turner to star in new Tyler Perry series

Former All My Children star Aiden Turner will be taking on a new soapy role in September in the series If Loving You Is Wrong.

Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan Devane) will be back on television screens in September. Turner has landed a role in Tyler Perry's If Loving You Is Wrong, which is set to premier on OWN in September.

The series is a continuation of Perry's film Single Mom's Club. It will focus on several couples who live on the same street. The neighbors will deal with finances, children, and keeping the magic in their romances, all while keeping some pretty big secrets from one another.

Turner's character, Brad, will have a seemingly perfect relationship and two children with his wife, Alex (played by Amanda Clayton), but a secret lurking beneath the surface of their relationship may have the power to destroy their marriage.

Turner is no stranger to the drama in store from him in the new series. He played Aidan Devane on All My Children from 2002 until 2009. The former special forces operative and private investigator left Pine Valley on the wrong side of the law. He exited town in handcuffs on his way to jail for kidnapping Kendall Hart.

If Loving You Is Wrong is Perry's second drama series in his production deal with OWN. The first, The Haves And The Have Nots, has been a success for the network.
